Do you have experience of developing creative, audience focused permanent exhibitions? Do you have a natural ability to inspire others through stories and collections?
The National Railway Museum is undergoing a series of projects, aiming to transform our site by 2025. The first phase is a GBP 20million project that will reshape our Great Hall and Works balcony. It will showcase our world class collection, celebrate engineering excellence and reveal the impact of railways on our lives.
We are looking for an experienced Interpretation Manager to lead the Interpretation Strategy for this ambitious project, from initial planning to project delivery. Working closely with curators and designers, you'll shape compelling stories and create memorable experiences that engage diverse audiences with our collection. You will be imaginative, organised and an effective communicator, able to inspire colleagues, visitor and funders alike.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of shaping the future of our museum. If you're experienced, enthusiastic and talented with a track record of creating successful exhibitions and permanent galleries, we'd love to hear from you. To help us attract the right person, we are able to pay relocation expenses.
