The Science & Innovation Park (SIP) is currently home to 35,000 objects from the Science Museum Group (SMG) Collection and the Science Museum’s world-class Library and Archive.
Alongside museum storage facilities, this 545-acre multipurpose site is made up of large open areas, native woodlands, runways and one of the UK’s largest solar farms. SIP also hosts research and development projects in collaboration between the Science Museum Group, science, engineering and film industries and academia.
We are now recruiting for a Project Coordinator to support the Projects team with the coordination and delivery of these projects on-site.
About the role
As Project Coordinator, you will report to the Head of Projects and will ensure communication channels with relevant stakeholders are managed efficiently, all contractor documentation (including insurance, licenses and permits) are coordinated, and meetings are administered effectively. You will support the Project Managers with the management of departmental documentation including tenders and surveys, and will support the compilation of presentations and reports. You will also co-ordinate effective financial and administration management of projects through their full life cycle.
About youJoining us, you will bring administration experience within a busy team or office. You will be comfortable communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior stakeholders, subject specialists, and contractors. You will be coordinating multiple projects and streams of work simultaneously, so will be able to multitask and prioritise. Some working knowledge of financial processes, systems and spreadsheets will be helpful.
