The Science Museum Group manage five national museums each with shops and online stores with annual turnover in excess of £5million. We offer a wide range of product categories including toys, clothing, apparel and food.
As Visual Merchandiser, your role is to plan and deliver seasonal visual programs for each site that reflects the museum exhibitions, seasons and public offers. You will ensure that our stores have a clear visual narrative, enhancing the audience experience.
You’ll not only make our products look great, but turn them into the must-haves our customers are looking for. Balancing the creative with the practical, you will have store designs and visual themes to work with, but it’ll be your vision and inventiveness that will bring them to life on the sales floor.
Joining us, you will have previous experience working within a retail environment. You’ll bring with you the fashion-sense, eye for detail and head for pressure to be consistently creative and motivated. Crucially you will have excellent interpersonal skills which will allow you to build and maintain good working relationships with the Retail Team and wider Museum departments.
