The Science Museum Group is now looking for a strong Recruiter to join us in-house on an interim basis for 6 months.
The Science Museum represents a unique environment in which you will be recruiting for a vast array of teams and roles, including Museum functions (curatorial, collections, exhibitions), corporate functions and unique directorate assignments. In this operational role, you will be the point of contact for all recruitment across the Science Museum in London, as well as our storage facilities at Blythe House and Wroughton. As an efficient and effective recruiter, you will support hiring managers at all levels to plan and deliver campaigns which attract, select and welcome talent to SMG.
As part of planning recruitment campaigns with hiring managers and using your insights to help them secure talent, you will advise on assessment methods and advertising strategies to ensure each campaign is bespoke and fit-for-purpose. You will also collaborate with recruitment colleagues on projects and use data to measure activity, study trends and identify success.
Joining us, you will have extensive recruitment experience with knowledge of assessment methods and direct sourcing, as well as the ability to immediately pick up a busy workload, building relationships with stakeholders across the business quickly and effectively. You will be able to prioritise a varied, fast-paced workload, working across a diverse range of teams and roles. This role would be suitable for someone looking to take their first step in-house from an agency environment, or someone in an internal recruitment role looking for a new challenge.
