Allowing us to grow profit and invest in our cultural offer, our Corporate Events Team sell, plan, deliver and operate corporate and private events across our internationally renowned venues.
To manage our Northern Event Sales Team and support us in reaching our commercial targets, delivering some truly unique events across National Railway Museum in York and National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, we are looking for an Events Sales Manager to join us on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will lead and develop the team to reach and exceed targets for both proactive and reactive events sales, championing our procedures, managing the budget and devising strategic sales plans, allowing the team and yourself to build commercial and internal relationships which ensure our clients become repeat customers.
Joining us, you will have a proven track record of formulating robust sales plans across corporate and private events whilst leading a team to meet and exceed targets. You will also possess strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills, used to secure bookings, meetings and site visits with key client accounts.
