Are you an experienced administrator who has worked in a varied role coordinating events and/or training courses? Are you extremely organised and interested in supporting the Science Museum Group's new Training Academy?
In the Autumn of this year, we will be launching a Training Academy which will deliver inspirational science engagement training courses and resources to teachers, museum and STEM professionals, and volunteers.
The courses themselves are designed to share our creative, hands-on approach for igniting curiosity and engaging a wide range of audiences with STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), which are underpinned by academic research.
This is an exciting new position that would see the Programme Coordinator coordinate the logistics, communication and reporting for the Academy. You'll manage training bookings, and oversee statistics reporting the evaluation of courses.
It is essential that you are pro-active and responsive to the needs of a team, that you have experience supporting the administration and delivery of a range of events, and possess basic report writing skills. An excellent communicator, you will have good research skills and excellent time management and organisation skills.
You will be offered excellent benefits, including 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, BUPA medical and dental care, a contributory company pension scheme, an interest free loan offer and numerous staff discounts whilst developing your career in a world class museum group.
This is a fixed term position until August 2021, with interviews expected to take place on Monday 22nd October 2018.
