As part of Science Museum Group, Locomotion in Shildon is looking for Casual Visitor Experience Assistants to support the operational running of the museum on an ad-hoc basis. You will work front of house and will be able to make a real difference to each visitor's day out.

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting visitors and offering a warm and friendly welcome throughout the museum. You will have the opportunity to operate in-museum commercial experiences, approach visitors for donations and work in our retail outlets promoting sales and ensuring our visitors have a great day.

You will bring a flexible approach and excellent customer service skills, being an enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills. You will have the confidence to communicate with our visitors, enjoy meeting new people of all ages, dealing with difficult situations, upselling our commercial experiences, asking for donations, supporting at events and representing the Museum with pride.
