Do you have exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience of securing investment or funding?
SMG are now recruiting for a Development Manager at the Science Museum on a permanent basis to contribute towards the ability of the Trusts, Foundations & Government (TFG) team to raise multi-million-pound income for the museum. In this role, you will be individually responsible for a portfolio of TFG funder accounts working to deliver long term, high-value strategic partnerships and significant renewals. You’ll provide effective account management and tailored stewardship, whilst developing your own portfolio of new business prospects. You will assist the team by being organised and accurate, ensuring accurate record keeping and assisting with presentations and minute-taking.
Joining us, you will have experience of managing a range of high value or high-profile national funders with experience of managing stakeholder needs and objectives. You will have experience of securing high value (5 and 6 figure) investment in the cultural sector (or similar) with a focus on Trusts, Foundations and Public Sector. With knowledge of project management and exceptional organisational skills, you will be able to work on simultaneous projects effectively and accurately. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
