Are you an established fundraiser with extensive experience working with major donors? Do you have exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information in an engaging way?
As Senior Philanthropy Manager your experience with major donors will help shape our ongoing strategy to increase our major donor income required to help us further transform the Science Museum. You will manage and grow a portfolio of high-level prospects and existing donors and Patrons, ensuring we have a clear cultivation and communication plan in place. This role will also offer the opportunity to manage a team of two Philanthropy Managers, who you will ensure are supported and delivering on their KPIs, but also assist them in planning their personal and professional development.
With a real passion for fundraising, you'll join us with successful and significant fundraising experience with major donors, along with a proven track record of securing donations and building long-term relationships with supporters. You'll be an outstanding communicator who has a real interest and passion for what we do and be able to inspire both our existing and potential donors to see how their donations can make a real difference to the museum.
You will be offered excellent benefits, including 27 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, BUPA medical and dental care, an annual season ticket loan and numerous staff discounts whilst developing your career in a world class museum group.
